Opening:  The WM opened the lodge at 4:00 and welcomed 52 members, 17 Grand Officer and 34 other visitors.

Minutes:  Resolved that the minutes of the Meetings held  28/5/08 as printed and circulated be taken as read and confirmed.

Treasurer’s Report:

RESOLVED That the Treasurer’s report be received and adopted and accounts as announced be passed for payment.

General A/c $20,520.50; Benevolent A/c $3849.14

Work: Bro Aaron Goding was installed as WM and his officers invested.

First Time of Asking:  The WM thanked the GM, PGMs, RW Bros Clegg, Harding and Marr and Grand Officers for their attendance; and his officers and members for the confidence they had reposed in him.  He outlined his visits for the coming month: Isis Installation 28^th June & Southport Installation 12^th July, and Initiation Paul Purcell 11^th July.

Second Time of Asking:

Apologies were taken from Bros Rose, Hawthorne, Wilkie, Barfoot, Lane, Crothers, Di Pietra, Bartlett (Isis), Coulter (GC Daylight) & Macgregor (DGSec).

Third Time of Asking: Nil

Closing:  The WM closed the Lodge at 7:00 p.m.

Installation of bro Aaron Goding

Once again the Lodge excelled in presenting its members and its visitors, including the MW Grand Master, MW Bros Smith and Wright, RW Bros Clegg, Harding and Marr with a superlative ceremony, as indeed the MWGM indicated in his address to the members at the completion of the ceremony.

The Banquet was as usual of an extremely high quality and the new Master’s mother, Janelle Goding’s work in preparing the many facets of the table decorations was wonderful.

Many brethren put in a lot of hours in preparing for this night but none as much as the DC, RW Bro Greg Goding who worked tirelessly (as he always does) to make the whole event come together and his efforts certainly paid off.
